‘Game of Thrones’ Star Lena Headey Needs Money!

You would think that if you had a role in one of the most popular shows on television currently, you’d have a lot of cash in your pocket, right? Well, that’s not the case for the actress who plays Queen Cersei on the hit show, Game of Thrones. Apparently, she is “dead” broke with less than five dollars in her bank account, and she is counting on a tax refund to keep her on her afloat.

TMZ obtained legal documents Lena filed in response to her husbands’ demands for half of their whopping $46,000 tax refund from 2011.The pair split up last year and now Lena is claiming she has to have $6,000 from that refund right now. She claims that she is just barely hanging on, living off credit to pay the bills for her and their 2-year-old son. Lena does admit that she is expecting some money to come in from her acting career sometime soon, but she needs the $6,000 advance to survive until then.

According to the documents, Lena has said she would be willing to give her husband a $6,000 advance from the refund to cover his living expenses, as well. However, the judge has denied her request and her husband’s request for half of the money.
