Dancing to the Bank, Stars of Dancing With the Stars Make HOW Much?

Forget about being a teacher or a firefighter! Sure, you might “help people” and “save lives” but the pay sucks! Why run into a burning building when you can get paid to learn how to dance? The celebrities on Dancing With the Stars get paid a lot of money just for simply learning how to dance on live television. One of the current dancers on Dancing With the Stars is Disney Channel star, who is just 16-years-old!

She was paid $125,000 just to appear on the show and after the initial payment of $125,000, she gets paid weekly. The first two weeks she made $10,000 each week, which is a total of $20,000 for the two weeks. After that, the pay goes up to $20,000 for weeks 3 and 4, and it only goes up from there. If she stays on for the full 10 weeks (which she just might) she will make a total of $345,000! Just for dancing on television! And the strangest part about it all? She was already paid to dance on her Disney Channel show, “Shake It Up“ so she kind of has an unfair advantage in the competition.

I hate to sound bitter, but daaaaaaaaamn! $345,000 for three months of dancing? Where can I sign up? I might not be a celebrity, but I write about celebrities. That has to count for something, right? They wouldn’t even have to pay me $345,000. I’d gladly do the whole thing for $5,000 and a box of Cracker Jacks.

Honestly, I’d probably even do it just for the Cracker Jacks. Groceries are getting pretty expensive these days.
