Mean Tweets: NBA Edition

We’re sure you have seen the little skit Jimmy Kimmel does on his late night show. He brings in celebrities, hands them a little phone and they’re forced to read mean tweets about themselves. The hilarious videos have all went viral, getting 5 million plus views every time they are posted on the show’s Youtube channel.

Well, Jimmy and his crew decided to change it up a little bit this time. In honor of the NBA finals taking place, Jimmy decided to do a special NBA edition of mean tweets. In the video below you will see, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Shaq, Rajon Rondo and many more read mean tweets from their “haters” on Twitter.

Not bad, huh? It seems like NBA fans are more creative than fans of regular ol’ celebrities. Some of those tweets were pretty damn clever. I think the best might have been the tweet that compared Rondo to Franklin the turtle. I’ve always thought that he looked familiar and now I know why! He looks exactly like him!
