Watch Jay Z’s Premiere of his Video “Picasso Baby” along with his full interview with Bill Maher (VIDEO)

Jay Z continues to make transcending all demographics cool.  That’s a hard thing to do, a fine line to walk.  Many have tried and only a handful have succeeded.  His latest platform was HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher where he touched on many topics including his so called “feud” with Harry Belafonte.

Maher goes right to it asking him about the legendary actor, to which Jay Z simply replies,

“If it was a real problem, I’m not very difficult to find, especially for a man of that stature. he could reach out to me and we could have a conversation and do some good together. I just thought it was a bit grandstanding … and I didn’t appreciate that. Especially dragging my wife into it, it was a bit of a low blow.”

Low indeed.  The rest of the interview is engaging but not shocking.  Jay is himself;  witty enough, confident enough and rich enough to pull off that ridiculous gold chain and still be taken seriously by white folks.  Well done.  Ike I said it’s a fine line to walk it and Jay Z has mastered it as his bank account can testify to.
