Middle Eastern Prince Paid HOW MUCH To Meet Kristen Stewart?

You may remember a week or so ago when we told you about how Kourtney Kardashian charged fans $150 just to meet her. We all agreed that was a bit ridiculous, but it’s nothing compared to how much a Middle Eastern prince paid to meet Kristen Stewart.

The New York Times spent some time with Harvey Wienstein at the Toronto International Film Festival recently and he shared a pretty interesting story involving Kristen Stewart, the Sandy relief effort and a Middle Eastern prince,

“Mr. Weinstein described persuading [Kristen Stewart] to accept an offer from a Middle Eastern prince, who said he would make a large contribution to the Sandy relief effort if she would speak with him.

‘How much?’ Ms. Stewart asked, according to Mr. Weinstein. He checked with the prince, who proposed a figure, which Mr. Weinstein promptly raised to $500,000.

The money was delivered in advance, in cash, Mr. Weinstein said. [James Dolan, MSG’s chairman] locked it up in Madison Square Garden, he said. ‘And Kristen sits with the guy for 15 minutes.'”

Half a million just to meet Kristen Stewart for 15 minutes? This kind of story would normally make me want to jump off a roof, but I guess it’s a good thing if the money went to people who needed it.

It’s just, being as poor as I am, I can’t wrap my head around things like this. How one would have $500,000 just to waste on meeting with some celebrity for 15 minutes. It’s like $500,000 was just a dinner at McDonald’s for him.

And to think, I stress out every time I go to the store to buy some groceries. Milk is expensive these days.
