Gucci Mane Addicted To ‘Lean’ Apologizes On Twitter

We all remember Gucci Mane’s insane Twitter rant where he claimed to have had a threesome with Nicki Minaj, right? Well, it appears that Twitter confession might have been fueled by that purple drank!

After getting arrested for threatening cops earlier this month and then going off on everyone on Twitter, the 33-year-old rapper admitted that he is addicted to lean.

And although lean sounds like some protein shake you might drink after doing P90X, it’s actually the “purple drank” that so many people in the hip hop community have been drinking.

Mane offered a heartfelt apology on his Twitter account yesterday,

“Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I’m so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention. I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I’m SORRY!

I’ve been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit I’m addicted to lean & that sh*t ain’t no joke. I can barely remember all the things I’ve done & said. However there’s no excuse.

I’m currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help. I wanna thank everyone that has stood by me during this difficult time. Please keep me in your prayers. I wanna personally apologize to birdman ross & drake. Dem my n*ggas. I 100% regret my words & actions.”

That’s good to hear, hopefully he turns the ship around! I’ve never had any of this purple sh-t, mainly because I am afraid of drinking cough syrup just by itself. I don’t even like taking Flintstones vitamins if I don’t have to.

This lean stuff apparently really f–ks you up, though. I kind of figured that someone who was writing what he was writing on Twitter had to be under the influence of something. For awhile I thought he just under the influence of stupid, but it turns out there was something else involved.
