Did Mick Jagger Hit On Katy Perry When She Was Just 18-Years-Old?
Did Mick Jagger try to put the moves on Katy Perry? See what I did there? That’s a real joke right there. Appreciate it because I am not sure if it will ever happen again.
Anyway, Katy Perry was on some Australian radio show this past week and during the interview, she told the host that she sang backup vocals for Mick Jagger’s 2004 song, ‘Old Habits Die Hard.’
At some point during their time together, Katy and Mick enjoyed a nice dinner together. And during that dinner, Katy claims that Mick “hit” on her when she was just 18-years-old.
However, the 70-year-old Mick Jagger denies that ever happened, or maybe he just can’t remember it, who knows. Either way, a rep for the singer said Jagger “categorically denies” that he ever hit on Katy Perry. “Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else.” The rep added.
[more…]I’m sorry, Jags. I’m going to have to believe Katy Perry on this one. Aren’t rock stars known for hitting on younger women? Why is he even denying this? He should just accept it, we already assumed he was a creepy old dude anyway.
In fact, I’d be more surprised if he didn’t hit on her when she was 18. At least he did wait until she was 18, unlike some other long-haired rock star we know.
