Why Did Kanye West Storm Off Stage In Florida?

Well, Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ show didn’t go quite as planned in Florida back on Nov. 30. According to the Tampa Tribune, the angry rapper stormed off stage in the middle of his show because of lighting issues.

Reports claim Kanye wasn’t happy about how the show was turning out, the lasers shooting out of the fake mountains were no good, the LED screen showed his face in color and not in black and white and the lighting was just completely wrong. Remember, this is all according to Kanye.

He left the stage in the middle of his third song. According to the Tribune, he stopped the music, stormed off stage and wanted the lights shut off. He did return to the stage a short time later, but he had some harsh words for everyone involved,

“He screamed at his tech crew; he barked at the audience. But just trying looking away: The local crowd would sing along one minute, collectively hold its breath the next, worried the star would storm off (or perilously writhe off) the stage for good.” Sean Daly of the Tampa Bay Times reported.

It should be noted that despite all of the distractions, everyone seemed to love the show. Even most of his critics were impressed by the show. Daly described it as, “rewarding” and “unpredictable.”

I have to admit, going to one of his concerts does sound like quite the experience. Although, I’d probably go home disappointed if nothing major happened.

“What? Kanye didn’t storm off stage and yell at somebody? THIS SHOW SUCKS! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!”

Yeah, I’d definitely be that guy.
