Katy Perry Caught Lip-Syncing At NRJ Music Awards, Host Forces Her to Start Over and Sing Live (VIDEO)

Well, it’s almost the end of 2013, but I think we might have just found a last-minute entry in the “Most Awkward Video of 2013” competition.

Katy Perry was performing “live” at the NRJ Music Awards in France recently and had some embarrassing technical difficulties. The 29-year-old singer was performing her hit song, ‘Roar’ and it was obvious to everyone she was lip-syncing.

She was not lined up with the track and the performance looked incredibly awkward. She was mouthing lines to the song that had already been played 10 seconds ago. It was embarrassing.

And the performance got even more embarrassing for her when the host of the show came out and stopped her performance. Not only did he make her start over, but he also forced her to sing live!

Oh, man. Doesn’t that just make you want to crawl under your covers and never get out of bed? It kind of makes you feel sorry for her. Yeah, she was lip-syncing, but it’s not like Katy Perry can’t sing. We all know she is capable of singing well.

And besides, it’s not like anyone cares about how well she sings. The only reason we watch performances of Katy Perry is to see her breasts in motion.

You see? Who cares if she is singing live or not.
