Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Breakup With Liam Hemsworth: “I Wait For Those Moments Of Silence”
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth hit it off while filming “The Last Song” together back in 2009. They fell in love with each other and in 2012, they decided to make things official and get engaged.
Liam was 22-years-old at the time and Miley Cyrus was just 19-years-old. Everyone tried to warn them that they were rushing this marriage thing, but they refused to listen. Why? Because they were in love, dammit! At 19 and 22, they were in love, after only knowing each other for three years.
And then a little over a year after getting engaged, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced they were splitting up. They had been pretty quiet about the breakup, but now Miley Cyrus is opening up.
[more…]For some reason, she was named one of Barbara Walters’ “10 Most Fascinating People of 2013” and during her interview, she talked a lot about the breakup.
“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year. I don’t ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can’t be yourself.”
And she expressed how happy she was about wearing the “fat rock” for a few years,
“It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years. But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I’m just at my house, by myself.
I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged.”
Okay, let’s get back to this Barbara Walters sh-t. What the hell kind of list is this? Duck Dynasty is also on the list? Really Barbara? Really?
