‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Phil Robertson Is In Trouble Again! Tells Men To Marry 15-Year-Old Girls (VIDEO)
You knew this was coming. Phil Robertson put himself out there in that GQ interview and now the media is on a mission to bring his redneck a** down.
And you know what? He’s making it pretty damn easy for them. A video of Phil Robertson speaking at Christian retreat in Georgia back in 2009 was just posted on Youtube. And during his speech, he gave the crowd some very interesting advice.
First, he gave your typical, “Find me a woman that can cook a meal! MAKE ME A SANDWICH!” speech. His exact quote went something like this,
“Make sure that she can cook a meal. You need to eat some meals that she cooks, check that out. Make sure she carries her Bible. That’ll save you a lot of trouble down the road.”
And then things got a little weird when he started talking about marrying 15-year-old girls.
[more…]He told the crowd full of Christians that you should marry young,
“They got to where they’re getting hard to find, mainly because these boys are waiting ‘til they get to be about 20 years old before they marry ’em. Look, you wait ‘til they get to be 20 years old the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket. You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16. They’ll pick your ducks.”
We’re not making this up, folks. There is video evidence of this…
Robertson practices what he preaches, he married his wife when she was just 16-years-old, which is legal down in Louisiana with parental consent.
To be fair, I don’t think he meant anything perverted or sexual by it. I think he was just saying if you get them young, then you have more time to train them to be your redneck slave. Does that make it any better? I don’t know, but I don’t think the guy is a pervert.
He’s just your typical redneck, and I am sure more videos of him saying weird sh-t are going to be posted online. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
