Kim and Kanye’s Pre-nup – $1 Million for Every Year They Can Stand Each Other
This time things are a little different, Kanye’s money has money and his earning power seems to be at an all-time high. With a net worth of $100 Million and Kim’s paltry net worth of $40 million I think a pre-up is definitely in order.
Let’s face it, Kim’s earning power is tied strictly to her looks which will undoubtedly fade along with her other ass-sets, as nature takes its course. Couple that with a horrible track record when it comes to marriage and Kanye would be a fool to go in unprotected (see what I did there?).
Radar online is reporting that Kanye is so head over heels with Kim that he didn’t even want a Pre-nup, which made the entire process super easy. Kim’s prenup negotiations with Humphries lasted longer than their 72 days of marriage, while Kanye’s has been a breeze. [more…]
SO WHATS IN THE WEST – KARDASHIAN PRE-NUP?
Here’s what we know so far:
- Kim will get $1 million per year for every year she is married to Kanye. That is capped at $10 million.
- Kim will get the Bel Air mansion; it will remain in her name. Kanye however is reported to be currently paying all the bills.
- Kim will get to keep any jewelry and gifts Kanye buys her
- Kim will get one of Kanye’s life insurance policies valued at $20 million. She will remain the beneficiary even if they divorce.
- Money Earned from Keeping up with the Kardashian’s (a reported $80K per episode), along with any promo appearances and the clothing line will be hers to keep.
I think that’s all the easy stuff. The hard part is what to do with North. There are no arrangements for their daughter in terms of custody. In my opinion that pre-nup could have been written on a napkin. Child custody is a whole different story, just ask Usher and Tyrese.
Things could get real messy if Kim tries to take North away from Kanye. As we all know, Ye can go from nice to nasty in a matter of seconds. Right Kanye?
