Paul Simon Arrested
Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickel, were arrested on April 26 for a complaint related to disorderly conduct.
At around 8:20, officers arrived to handle a family dispute at the couples New Canaan Connecticut home. Following the visit, both parties were arrested. Simon’s lawyer is alleging that it is related to an argument that just got out of hand. Simon himself stated
“We had an argument, which is atypical of us. Neither of us has any fear, or any reason to be threatened.”
That does kind of make you wonder why they needed the cops there then? All appears to be going well for the couple now though. They appeared in Norwalk Superior Court to face the charges holding hands.
Simon initially blasted to fame as one half of Simon and Garfunkel before he took on a solo career in the early 70s. The star has amassed 12 Grammys over his career.
