First Kiss! Katie Couric And John Molner Lock Lips After Getting Married

Congratulations are in order for Katie Couric. The 57-year-old (yes she’s really 57) married her boyfriend of two years, John Molner, in a lovely wedding ceremony in the Hamptons in New York.

The quaint wedding took place in Couric’s own backyard Saturday afternoon. Close friends and family attended the ceremony, including Couric’s two daughters and Molner’s two children. This is the second marriage for the former Today show co-host.

Her first husband, Jay Monahan, died back in 1998 at the age of 42 after a long battle with colon cancer. Couric told More magazine back in 2013 that she was surprised she hadn’t remarried before now.

“It’s actually surprising to me that it has been almost 15 years and I haven’t remarried. I think life is more fun when you have someone in your life.”

Molner popped the question last September during Labor Day weekend. He presented her with a stunning diamond ring at sunset on the beach in East Hampton. After announcing their engagement last year, Couric said, “He’s great. He’s from Chicago. I love Midwesterners!”

Good for them. I still can’t get over the fact that she’s almost 60-years-old! She looks absolutely amazing for her age. Molner is one lucky dude.
