Jersey Housewife to do Time
It’s official, table flipper and star of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice, is going to be spending a few months in federal lockup. In an interview with TODAY, she reported being very shocked over the 15 month sentence, stating that it was very unexpected.
Husband Joe Giudice has also been sentenced to three and a half years. All the charges are related to mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. The judge in the case, Esther Salas, reported that the Giudice’s long history of dishonest practices made her decide that prison was the only option for the two.
The prison sentences will be scattered in order to allow the couple to care for their children. Teresa will be going first and is said to be expected to report on January 5, 2014.
On the upside, it looks like Orange is the New Black just got a new storyline idea!
