Rob Lowe Is Looking For A New Personal Assistant, And The Job Requirements Are Pretty Ridiculous…WTF ROB?

The life of a personal assistant to a celebrity is not a job for the uninitiated. It’s not a glamorous job, so don’t let the movies fool you. Most celebs are not best friends with their assistants. They treat them as employees, and your only job is to make sure they’re happy.

And it looks like it takes A LOT to make Rob Lowe happy. According to TMZ, the 52-year-old actor is currently searching for a new personal assistant. He allegedly posted the job description on a “website targeting personal assistants.”

The requirements for this job are hilarious. The very first requirement is never assume anything. You don’t know what Rob Lowe wants unless you ask him, so basically don’t take a trip to Whole Foods to buy purple sweet potatoes for Rob, because Rob probably doesn’t want your purple sweet potatoes.

Check out the list from TMZ:

— Never assume anything

— Ensure the CLIENT [Rob] is fed and has coffee throughout the day

— Schedule haircuts every episode for the CLIENT

— Ensure that the CLIENT HAS A DINNER PLAN IF ARRIVING HOME LATER THAN 8 PM in the evening

— Make sure you let Estate staff know if the CLIENT wants a Jacuzzi turned on or a massage ordered for his arrival

— Willing to travel on location as requested and serve as the CLIENT’S body man

— Able to lift up to 25 pounds as required to support THE CLIENT

It’s basically like taking care of a dog. Feed him, give him water, belly rubs, schedule grooming appointments, etc.

Just think about this. Lowe is so rich and famous that he can request to have the Jacuzzi ready for him the moment he arrives home from a long day on set. He can’t wait a few minutes for it to heat up. He wants to walk in the door, rip off his clothes and jump in while you make him a bowl of oats.

And why the f**k does Rob need help lifting 25 pounds? He’s in great shape. He can lift 25 pounds with one arm.

TMZ says this job pays $70k plus benefits, so if you’re an experienced caregiver, it might be worth it.
