Jennifer Lopez Says She’s NOT Mad At Ben Affleck For His Comments About Jennifer Garner

You’ll remember last week we told you about Ben Affleck’s interview on The Howard Stern Show. During a nearly three-hour long interview, the 49-year-old actor talked about his divorce from Jennifer Garner.

He admitted that if he was still married to Garner, he’d probably be drinking constantly still. Here is the quote that got him in some trouble…

We probably would’ve ended up at each other’s throats. I probably still would’ve been drinking. Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped. I was like, ‘I can’t leave because of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’ And what I did was [I] drank a bottle of scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.

People took that quote and tried to make it seem like he was blaming Garner for his drinking problems.

The heat was so severe that Affleck had to issue an apology and clarify his words. He said he had nothing but respect and love for Garner, and he also said she’s a wonderful mother to their kids.

Shortly after Affleck’s comments went viral, a report came out claiming his current girlfriend Jennifer Lopez was pissed at him for making such a stupid comment.

But this past weekend, she told People that those reports just aren’t true.

This story is simply not true. It is not how I feel. I couldn’t have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person.

So there you go, no drama between Ben and the Jennifers this Christmas week.

No word on if they’ll be having a joint Christmas celebration, although we have are doubts.
