Country Music Star Toby Keith Sends Message To Fans After Stomach Cancer Diagnosis
If you haven’t heard the news, country music star Toby Keith revealed a few days ago that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer last fall. He’s spent the past six months doing chemo, radiation and even surgery. He has been throwing the kitchen sink at it, and for right now, it might be working.
When he made the shocking announcement, he told his fans that he needed time to “breathe, recover, and relax,” but couldn’t wait to see them sooner rather than later.
The post received a lot of support and love. And it’s clear Toby has been reading the responses. He went on his Twitter account on Tuesday (June 14) to show some love back to his fans.
Thank you for all your love and support. I have the best fans in the world. – T

Stomach cancer is a tough one, but hopefully Keith caught it somewhat early. He’s also an extremely wealthy man, so he can afford the best treatment possible.
Keith had a number of scheduled performances that needed to be cancelled, including an upcoming performance at the Ohio State Fair.
Our hearts go out to Toby Keith as he courageously battles cancer. Any information about an alternate concert on July 28 is forthcoming.
Toby Keith is 60-years-old. According to the experts, the average age of someone who gets diagnosed with stomach cancer is 68-years-old, and men have a higher likelihood of developing the illness.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
