Shooting On The Set Of French Montana Music Video Leaves Multiple People Seriously Injured
Another day, another shooting. More gun violence in America. This time, the shooting went down on the set of a forthcoming music video from French Montana and Rob49.
The Miami Gardens Police Department confirmed to a local news station that multiple people were shot in the parking lot of The Licking restaurant where the rappers had been filming. At least four victims had to be transported via helicopter to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Last we heard, their condition was still unknown, but if they were air lifted, you have to imagine their injuries were severe.
It doesn’t appear that Montana was hit during the attack. A witness claims his security was able to get him out of the line of fire.
A witness named Ced Mogul described the scene:
There were multiple shots fired, it sounded like an assault rifle. When we heard the gunshots… people started running, some people had blood on their shirts, some people were crying on the ground. It’s just tragic. I took off running, and I was looking back, but I was like, ‘You know what? Let me just duck first, and then people started asking me, you know, ‘Can you help me?’
Detectives are currently going through multiple videos posted on social media, as well as surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
At this time, they believe the shooting was an isolated incident. We don’t know if they currently have a suspect, but we’re sure they won’t be hard to track down. Something this public? With all the cameras around? They’re going to get caught.
Let’s just hope everyone who was shot can make a full recovery.
