Jonathan Majors Has Been Dropped By His Manager And Publicist Amid Domestic Violence Claims
Craving an update on ‘Creed III‘ star Jonathan Majors? Well, we got one. According to the latest reports, the actor’s longtime manager has dropped him as a client.
Several sources have confirmed that Entertainment 360 parted ways with Majors three weeks after he was arrested in New York City for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. In addition to his management team dropping him, we’re also hearing his PR Firm, The Lede Company, dropped him as well.
What does this mean? It’s not great. We’re not saying this makes him guilty, but it certainly doesn’t look good for his innocence either, and it makes you wonder if he has even more skeletons in the closet.
If you missed the news last month, the 33-year-old actor was arrested in late March after being involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The woman had minor injuries to her head and neck. She told police she was assaulted by Majors and that he put his hands around her neck.
His former publicist released a statement, claiming their client was innocent and they had the receipts to prove it. Well, those “receipts” were two text messages from his girlfriend, where she displayed classic symptoms of an abused woman. She claimed it was her fault the incident happened, assured him she told police to drop the charges, and just acted rather desperate to make sure he knew everything was going to be okay.
She also admitted to “passing out” in the texts, which is why authorities were called. She didn’t say how she passed out, but uh, it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. You’ll remember in her original statement, she said Majors choked her.
The girlfriend also wrote this line, “I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone,” which is essentially admitting an assault took place, but she’s taking the blame because she grabbed his phone.
Those texts didn’t help Majors the way he thought they would, and now it looks like his career is going to suffer.
