Nick Cannon Says Mariah Carey Feels Some Type Of Way About Him Having So Many Kids

These days, Nick Cannon has six baby mamas, but Mariah Carey was the first. For those who don’t remember, Mariah and Nick welcomed a pair of twins together back in 2011 after tying the knot just three years prior. They went on to stay married until 2015/16, and after that, Nick went wild ‘n out.

The 42-year-old entertainer has 12 kids with six different women, and I think we all want to know how Mariah feels about that. Thankfully, we now have some insight.

During an upcoming episode of The Jason Lee Show, Cannon seems to suggest she’s cool with it all, as long as he doesn’t bring any bullsh*t her way.

She’s high frequency. She always asks me, ‘You aight? How you doin’? You handling it all?’ She’s like, ‘Yo, let’s make sure we’re on the same page every day so when some bulls–t comes up, we know that it ain’t true. When we talk daily, she’s just checking in on my spirit.

It’s so interesting to hear Cannon talk about Mariah because he still sounds so in love with her. I mean, he’s basically admitted as much, and even hinted he’d take her back, but obviously she doesn’t want that.

Anyway, in a separate interview, Cannon tried to shut down the critics who claim he can’t possibly be a good father to twelve children.

I’ve been villainized. I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So therefore I get this ‘deadbeat dad’ title. It’s not about what I do for you or what I say to you, it’s about how you feel when I’m with you. If you feel loved when you see your dad, that’s what’s gonna resonate.

I’m with Nick on this. He seems involved, and his kids are obviously cared for and they all have loving moms. People need to mind their own business.
