Wendy Williams’ Son Claims Her Alcohol Abuse Might End Up Killing Her
It looks like Wendy Williams is still struggling with alcohol abuse. You’ll remember she lost her daytime talk show over two years ago due to alcohol abuse and illness. She has been in and out of rehab ever since, and unfortunately, she’s still struggling with the same issues.
Her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., talked to the US Sun this week, and he says he’s concerned that his mother’s alcohol abuse will kill her.
He revealed her body does not process booze at the same “rate” that a “normal” person’s body would.
We’ve spoken about it. I’ve said, ‘This is one thing where you don’t know how to approach it normally, and that’s fine,’ and it’s gotten to a point where, yes, it could have that effect that it might be fatal because it affects her way worse than a normal person since it stays in her system.
We’re not sure what makes alcohol so dangerous for her body. We know she has Graves’ disease, and alcohol can make flare-ups worse, but we can’t find anything on it being fatal.
In any event, Kevin is worried about his mother. He took care of her in 2021 and the better part of 2022, so he certainly knows her health condition better than anyone else.
He also claims her management team is too focused on making money off her…
What’s been made more important by the people around her is that while her health may not be great, she needs to keep on earning income, and in my opinion that should not be a priority at all. And whoever has been hired, they are taking advantage of someone who needs to get better.
It’s a sad situation. This is why it’s so important for celebrities to surround themselves with a strong core group of friends and family. It’s clear Wendy never had that.
