Yikes! Bebe Rexha Needed Stitches After Being Smacked With A Phone During Concert!
We have seen artists dodge flying shoes and water bottles while performing onstage, but apparently a big a** iPhone is a little harder to get away from.
Bebe Rexha was performing at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in Manhattan on Sunday night as part of her ‘Best F’n Night of My Life’ tour, but unfortunately this was decidedly not the best night of her life.
While performing, someone threw a phone and it hit her directly in the face. And this wasn’t a soft throw either, someone freaking powered that thing up there.
Ouch. Looks painful, right? You can see the concert stops immediately and what looks like Bebe’s entire crew comes out to help her off the stage.
A second clip shows Bebe holding her injured face with one hand while waving to her fans with the other as she’s escorted off the stage by her crew. The audience responded by chanting her name in support.
The 33-year-old artist posted a photo of her face on Monday morning, noting she needed stitches for a nasty gash above her eye.
The good news? Police were able to track down the idiot who threw the phone. Officers arrested a man by the name of Nicolas Malvagna. It’s not clear why he threw the phone. Was he just really drunk? Does he have something against her? Is he just a lunatic?
Who knows, but he’s in police custody and is expected to be arraigned later today.
