‘Euphoria’ Star Angus Cloud Seen Living His Best Life Days Before Tragic Death
As some of you may have heard, ‘Euphoria‘ star Angus Cloud died on Monday at his family’s home in Oakland. The rising actor was just 25-years-old.
His family released a statement on his death, and seemed to suggest that he may have taken his own life. They noted that he was really close with his father, who they had to bury just last week. He was apparently taking the death very hard.
The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.
Cloud starred as a lovable drug dealer on the hit HBO show Euphoria. He told a story about his first audition for the show, and it’s actually pretty hilarious.
I definitely thought it could be some kind of scam. Then they brought me back in and they showed me the role, and it made more sense. Because in my mind I was like, they stopped me because I look like I could be a star? Then I’m like, no, it’s because I look like I could be a drug dealer.
Three days before his shocking death, Cloud was spotted partying with his friends for an album launch party for the rap group, MacArthur Maze.
Cloud wore a black hoodie to the bash, accessorizing with a matching baseball cap, a patterned scarf around his head and clear glasses.
Sources at the party claim he was there for around three hours and did not show any signs of personal struggle, whatever that means.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
