‘Big Brother’ Has Kicked Contestant Luke Valentine Off The Show For Saying N-Word
Yesterday we told you that another white contestant on ‘Big Brother‘ was caught saying the n-word. The contestant, Luke Valentine, casually dropped the racial slur during a conversation with three other housemates, one of which was black.
He apologized for his choice of words, but you could clearly see it made everyone uncomfortable.
Now we have learned that the network has kicked him off the show. A spokesperson for CBS told PageSix…
Luke violated the ‘Big Brother’ code of conduct, and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s episode.
There were a lot of people upset by his blunder, including past ‘Big Brother’ winner Andy Herren, who took to social media to encourage CBS to kick Luke out of the house.
Production should remove Luke. Set an example. Show current and future players that language like that will not be tolerated #BB25. Production loves hiding racism and homophobia and transphobia when straight white men are involved. Hoping they actually do the right thing and address Luke’s comment. The way it so casually came out of his mouth is really upsetting.
He later deleted this message after it was revealed the show was indeed removing Luke from the house.
Sadly, this probably won’t be the last time something like this happens. White people just can’t help themselves.
