Courtney Cox Massively Regrets Getting Facial Fillers, Calls Them A “Total Waste Of Time”
There has been a lot of hoopla over Courtney Cox’s face in recent years. The ‘Friends‘ star went facial filler crazy in a desperate attempt to bring back her youth, but like most celebs, she went overboard with the fillers and ended up looking like a completely different person.
During a recent interview with Woman magazine, the 59-year-old actress blamed the pressures of the industry for her decision to get facial fillers…
There’s so much pressure to stay looking young in this industry that once you start, it becomes a bit of a domino effect and you keep on having more. To the rest of the world your face is so obviously changing, but to yourself — because you’re only having one procedure at a time — you don’t notice. It was a total waste of time and I wish I hadn’t caved into the pressure of having it.
And it’s not just the industry that puts pressure on female celebs, it’s their fans as well. You’ll have people comment on some makeup free photo of a celebrity and slam them for every blemish and wrinkle, but then when the celeb gets plastic surgery to correct those things, they slam them again for changing their face. It’s truly a lose-lose situation, which is why you should try your best to focus on yourself.
Never change something on your body to please someone else. Only do it for yourself.
By the way, this isn’t the first time Cox has expressed regret over her facial fillers, back in March, she told the Gloss Angeles podcast the following…
You don’t realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more, ‘cause you look normal to yourself. Thank God they are removable. I messed up a lot and now luckily … I was able to reverse most of that.
