Britney Spears Say Colin Farrell Was Her Justin Timberlake Rebound, And It Was A Lust-Filled Romance

In Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, which hits stores next week, the 41-year-old singer talks a lot about her love life, including a two-week fling she had with Colin Farrell.

According to Britney, she met the actor shortly after breaking up with Justin Timberlake. A “club promoter” friend set them up because Farrell was in town filming the 2003 action-thriller film, S.W.A.T.

She visited him on set and the two fell madly in lust with each other. “Brawl is the only word for it — we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight,” she writes in her book, describing their romance as super passionate, albeit brief.

The romance kinda fizzled out when Farrell brought Spears to a movie premiere and described her to the cameras as only a good friend. Britney was hurt by this and left the premiere right after the paparazzi moved out.

As I had before when I’d felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn’t over Justin yet.

Now looking back at it, she can see the romance for what it was, and she has no regrets. To hear her tell it, Farrell is a pretty good lover.

Also in her book, she claims that Timberlake broke up with her via text message while she was in Louisiana visiting family.

“I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood,” she writes.

The book hits shelves Oct. 24.
