‘Good Burger’ Star Kel Mitchell Rushed To Hospital In Los Angeles After “Frightening” Medical Incident
If you’re a ’90s kid, chances are you know and love Kel Mitchell from his starring role in the truly bizarre comedy film, Good Burger. He starred in the film, which was based on a comedy sketch from ‘All That‘, alongside Kenan Thompson. The movie was released back in 1997, and despite mixed reviews from critics, it became a cult classic.
And if you didn’t know, a sequel to the film is supposed to be released later this month. Both Kel and Kenan have returned for this sequel.
Sadly, Kel had to briefly stop promoting the movie this week due to a health scare. He was reportedly rushed to a hospital emergency room in Los Angeles on Tuesday and reportedly stayed there overnight into the day on Wednesday.
It’s not clear what he was suffering from, but he did jump on his Instagram late Wednesday night to let everyone know he’s now on the road to recovery.

As you can see, he described the experience as “genuinely frightening,” so we certainly hope his road to recovery is a smooth one. Kel and Kenan kinda went on separate paths after the success of Good Burger.
Kel wasn’t able to find as many jobs as Kenan and went through some pretty dark periods in his life, but he credits God for helping him get out of it. He’s currently married and a father to two kids. Life is good for Kel.
