Controversial Dermatologist To The Stars Alex Khadavi Dies At Age 50
Most people probably know celebrity dermatologist Alex Khadavi because of his bizarre homophobic rant in 2021. If you don’t remember, he was accused of going on an expletive-laden tirade directed at his gay neighbors.
He was caught on surveillance footage ranting to his apartment building’s concierge about the couple. He allegedly yelled, “I’ll f—k you up. F—king f—ts. Nobody tells me what to do. My parents don’t tell me … I’ll f—kng shoot you in the f—king face.”
Yikes, right? Several celebrities actually came out to defend him after this, painting the incident as a big misunderstanding, but it’s hard to see how that was a misunderstanding.
In any event, Khadavi passed away this week at the young age of 50. His Instagram page posted a tribute, writing, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr. Alex Khadavi. Alex will be missed by his family, friends, professional team and those who knew him.”
No cause of death was given in the official posting, but Page Six is reporting he was secretly battling stage 4 liver cancer, which is very bad stuff.
Alex had a slew of celebrity patients, including Scott Disick, Lance Bass, Maria Russell, and buckets full of reality stars. In fact, Shahs of Sunset alum Mike Shouhed paid tribute to Alex in the comments.
This one hurt. You were one of the good ones who was misunderstood. So talented. So smart. Took care of the ones you loved. Thank you for the memories. The insight. The love. See you on the other side my brother. Warm it up, until we meet again 🤍.
Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
