Bam Margera Celebrates 100 Days Sober And Gives Credit To Mark Wahlberg For Inspiring Him
We finally have some good news to report when it comes to Bam Margera. The former ‘Jackass‘ star, who has struggled with addiction for much of his adult life, is celebrating being over 100 days sober.
As most of you know, he’s been in and out of rehab for the past few years and was fired from the most recent ‘Jackass’ film for failing drug/alcohol tests.
But it wasn’t until he saw the damage he was doing to his son that it really locked in for him: he needed to change.
And we’re happy to report that he is over 100 days sober now. He’s been in San Antonio working on a movie and developing artwork for his clothing company. He’s also been spending time with his girlfriend, Dannii, and together they’ve been trying to hit the gym at least five days a week.
According to Bam, he’s been working out in a gym owned by a personal trainer who helped get Mark Wahlberg in shape for his 2013 movie, Lone Survivor. There are images of Wahlberg scattered throughout the gym, and for some reason, that motivated Bam.
He even sent Mark a personalized video, and much to his surprise, Mark sent one back and invited him to come hang with him in Vegas.
Bam says he just got cleared to visit his son in Los Angeles, so he plans to drive out to the west coast soon, and when he does, he plans to stop by Vegas to hang out with Mark.
Let’s just hope they stay away from the casinos.
