Cameron Diaz Says Jamie Foxx Did NOT Make Her Want To Quit Acting

You’ll remember that Jamie Foxx was filming a movie called ‘Back In Action‘ with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta when he suffered his still mysterious health emergency. And just days before he was rushed to the hospital, there was a report floating around that he had an “on set meltdown” and made Diaz feel so uncomfortable that she wanted to quit acting.

But during a recent appearance on the ‘Lipstick on the Rim‘ podcast, the 51-year-old actress made it clear that those rumors were completely false.

I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set at the time. You just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, ‘What are you talking about?’ Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, so much fun.

I’ve never met Foxx personally, but if I had to describe him to someone, I’d probably say exactly what she said: talented, special and lots of fun.

Diaz did admit there were “hiccups” while filming the movie, but that happens on every single movie set. Nothing goes exactly as planned.

She was also asked about Foxx’s medical emergency, but she made it clear that it wasn’t her place to talk about it…

That’s something that is not my place to speak about. He’s thriving now. When I see and hear people trying to take another person down like that … [Jamie is] so classy. He’s like, ‘Nope. Just let them [talk].’
