Mariah Carey And Longtime Boyfriend Bryan Tanaka Have Split Because He Wanted THIS
It looks like another relationship is ending in heartbreak for Mariah Carey. It’s being reported by Page Six that the 54-year-old singer and her 40-year-old boyfriend Bryan Tanaka have decided to split.
This is a little surprising because they had been together for over 7 years. Many people thought they’d go the distance, but Page Six says Bryan changed the course of the relationship when he expressed his desire to have kids.
“He wants to have a family. That’s not where she’s at,” the source revealed. As most of you know, Carey already has a family. She shares 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.
Tanaka does not have any children of his own, so we can understand why he wants to start his own family, but one would think they would have discussed this at some point throughout their seven years together.
You’ll remember, they first met way back in 2006. Tanaka was a dancer and went on tour with Carey. They did not start dating until 2016 though, one year after Carey and Cannon split.
Earlier this month, Carey talked to People and explained this past year hasn’t been the greatest…
I’ve been looking forward to this Christmas for, like, the whole year. Since last year — because last year wasn’t the greatest. I’m thankful for them all, but it wasn’t my most fun version of Christmas ever.
Looks like the search for love is back on for Mariah.
