Pete Davidson Cancels Shows In New York Just Two Hours Before He Was Set To Perform
It looks like life might be a little difficult for Pete Davidson right now. As most of you know, the 30-year-old comedian/actor has struggled with his mental health for years. He has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which is a pretty tough illness to navigate. There are even a large percentage of therapists who refuse to work with people who have BPD.
Davidson has been in and out of rehab for his mental health, and some fans are wondering if he might be headed back after he abruptly canceled a string of upcoming shows.
He was scheduled to perform in NYC last week, but he canceled the show just two hours before he was set to perform.
New York’s Beacon Theatre took to their Instagram Story on Friday to notify fans of the last-minute cancelation due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’
His show scheduled for the following night was also canceled. In fact, he canceled all his shows until Jan. 6th. His reps did not respond to requests for comments.
Several of his fans expressed their disappointment on social media. One person tweeted, “Was literally about to walk out the door for the pete davidson show just to see it was canceled 2.5 hours before the show started….. rip this week is not going my way.”
Another wrote, “Was excited to see Pete Davidson tonight but his show just got canceled.”
The last time Pete was in rehab was back in June. That’s when he checked himself into the same rehab facility John Mulaney was at in Pennsylvania.
