Kevin Hart Responds After Getting Blasted By Katt Williams In An Interview That Was Heard ‘Round The World

You’ve likely heard all about the Katt Williams interview. On Jan. 3rd, his three-hour-long interview on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, Club Shay Shay, nearly broke the internet.

Williams had A LOT to say about A LOT of comedians, including Kevin Hart, Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey, Rickey Smiley, Chris Tucker, and more. He accused Cedric of stealing jokes from him, and said multiple times that Cedric doesn’t write his own jokes. He basically straight up said Cedric is a fraud.

He also claimed he ended Steve Harvey’s comedy career during a comedy battle in Detroit. He called out Steve for wearing a hairpiece.

And I went in, and that’s why he couldn’t do stand-up anymore. Imagine him coming to tell you another story where he got so big and it was Bernie [Mac] and them’s fault ’cause they wanted to be movie stars. What? You called Ocean’s Eleven to get that n – – – -’s part. What do you mean you didn’t want to be a movie star?

Williams also made the bizarre claim that Harvey Weinstein offered to suck his d**k in front of everyone at his agency.

Elsewhere in the interview, he went in on Kevin Hart.

In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of a sold-out Kevin Hart show, there being a line for him, ever getting a standing ovation at any comedy club. He already had his deals when he got here. Have we heard of a comedian that came to L.A., and in his first year in L.A., he had his own sitcom on network television and had his own film called Soul Plane that he was leading? No. We’ve never heard of that before that person or since that person. What do you think a plant is?

There’s so much more in the interview. If you ever have three hours to kill, it’s a pretty entertaining interview. We’re not sure how much of it is true. In some parts, Williams just comes off as very bitter and angry.

And that’s how Hart is treating the situation. He responded fairly calmly on his Twitter, and even managed to promote his upcoming film in the process…
