Sacha Baron Cohen And Wife Isla Fisher Are Divorcing After Nearly 14 Years Of Marriage
Sacha Baron Cohen is not having a good start to 2024. You’ll remember, just last week, Rebel Wilson called him a major “a**hole” after working with him back in 2016.
She devoted an entire chapter of her new memoir, Rebel Rising, to attacking Cohen.
She claimed that he humiliated her and and asked her to perform a lewd act on him, then tried to ‘threaten’ her before her book came out.
He has denied the allegations, but honestly, he has other things to worry about now. It was revealed this week that he and his wife, Isla Fisher, are divorcing after nearly 14 years of marriage.
They posted a joint statement on their respective Instagram Stories…
As you can read, they claim the split went down in 2023, which would seem to suggest their troubles have nothing to do with the allegations made by Wilson.
The couple share three children together and have done a good job of keeping their family life private. If you’re wondering, they first met way back in 2001 at a party in Australia.
Cohen spoke about that first meeting in an interview with The New York Times…
She was hilarious. We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.
What a sad ending! But hey, 14 years of marriage in Hollywood isn’t bad at all!
