Country Music Superstar Morgan Wallen Arrested After Throwing Chair Off Rooftop Bar
Morgan Wallen is probably the biggest name in country music. Everything the dude releases turns into a number one hit, and it looks like all the fame and money is messing with his head.
The 30-year-old singer was arrested early Monday morning outside Eric Church’s bar in Nashville. Apparently, he was standing on the roof of the bar and became belligerent. He reportedly tossed a chair off the roof, almost hitting two police officers who were positioned outside the bar.
Staff members identified the ‘Wasted on You’ crooner, 30, as the person responsible for tossing the chair and claimed he laughed afterward. Wallen was arrested for three counts of reckless endangerment for the two officers who were in the vicinity and for the danger to the public, the outlet reported. The ‘Sand in My Boots’ singer was also charged with a misdemeanor, disorderly conduct.
A few of those charges are felonies, so you know, he might be in some serious trouble for this. You can see him smiling like a goofball in his mugshot photos, so he was obviously still wasted out of his mind.
His bond was set at $15,000, and obviously he was able to post that with no problem. He was released a short time later and he’s due back to appear in criminal court on May 3, which works out well for him because he has a concert in Nashville scheduled for that night.
This isn’t his first time being arrested. He was arrested in May of 2020 on public intoxication charges, and in 2016, he was arrested for DUI, but that charge ended up being dismissed.
It’s been well known that Wallen has a drinking problem, and unfortunately, it looks like he still doesn’t have that sh*t under control.
