Carson Daly Claims “Sleep Divorce” Helps Him And His Wife Stay Together
Carson Daly really wants to stay with his wife, Siri Pinter, for the rest of his life, and we’s willing to do anything to make sure their marriage stays fresh.
One of his favorite marriage tricks? Sleep divorce. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the 50-year-old star revealed he and his wife sleep in different beds/rooms at least once or twice a week.
It’s been good for us. We both secretly love it. We don’t do it all the time, but a couple of days during the week — especially if I want to watch an Islanders hockey game kind of later at night — I go into the guest room, she retires upstairs to read her book or watch a show.
Daly and Pinter met way back in 2005 and got married in 2015. They have four children together and love their life together, which is why they’re doing little things now to make sure it can last.
The object is to stay together. That’s what we’d like to do. And so reverse engineering that, it’s like — by any means necessary, for the two of us, [we want to] still be in a relationship when we’re dying.
Reverse engineering your marriage doesn’t exactly sound romantic, but marriage isn’t always romantic. It takes a lot of work, and sometimes you have to get a little creative to make sure you don’t end up wanting to kill each other.
Sounds like they have a solid handle on things.
