Hollywood Producer Slams Sydney Sweeney, Says She Can’t Act And Isn’t Pretty

‘Euphoria‘ star Sydney Sweeney is a bit of a sex symbol these days. After showing her breasts often in the hit series, the 26-year-old actress has landed multiple movie roles, including the recent rom-com, Anyone But You, which earned over $200 million at the global box office.

Despite her success, some people just love to hate.

Longtime Hollywood producer Carol Baum, who produced hit films like Father of the Bride, slammed Sweeney following a screening of her 1988 film, Dead Ringers.

I don’t get Sydney Sweeney. I watched Anyone But You. I wanted to know who she is and why everybody’s talking about her. I said to my class, ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot?’ Nobody had an answer.

She was asked if she’d turn down the chance to produce a movie with her, and Baum answered pretty honestly, saying it’s so difficult to get something made in Hollywood that if Sweeney helped make the film happen, she wouldn’t turn it down.

A rep for Sweeney did not respond to the comments, but fans of the actress sure did! One user wrote, “Carol Baum is jealous of Sydney Sweeney’s appearance and popularity, two things Baum never possessed.”

Sydney Sweeney received 2 Emmy nods for acting at age 24 delivered 2 hit films she headlined AND produced at age 26. Carol Baum, with nothing relevant on her resume in 30 years, should sit this one out.

Damn. The internet is brutal! It’s like a 24/7 roast battle. I don’t think Sweeney even needs to respond at this point.
