Simone Biles Admits She Had A Breakdown Following Her Husband’s Embarrassing Viral Interview

Back in December of 2023, NFL player Jonathan Owens had an interview with the Pivot podcast, and he made some waves by talking about his wife, Olympic athlete Simone Biles.

During the bizarre interview, he tried to claim he didn’t even know who Biles was before dating her, which seems crazy because she’s one of the more popular Olympians in recent memory. She’s a seven-time Olympic champion after all.

He also claimed he was more of a catch than her, “I always say that the men are the catch,” he said during the interview.

Of course, it went viral and people started clowning on him, because I mean really, did anyone know his name before he started dating Biles? The internet went hard on him and some people even instructed Biles to divorce him, which seems like a little bit of an overreaction.

Biles was recently on the ‘Call Her Daddy‘ podcast, and she opened up about the backlash from the interview, revealing at first she thought it was funny, but then it got too personal…

I thought it was hilarious at first and then it hurt my feelings. One night I broke down and I’m like, ‘Why are you guys talking about my husband like this? You don’t know him. You don’t know who he is and if anybody’s met him, you know he’s the sweetest guy, will do anything for anybody.’ That really hurt that they were talking about my husband like that. For me, it’s like, talk about me all you want, but don’t come for my family, never.

According to insiders, Biles and Owens have a great relationship, and he’s currently trying to figure out a way to get out of summer training camp so he can support her at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

I’m excited for him to see the Olympics because football’s not in the Olympics and he always says it’s the hardest sport, it’s universal. So, why is it not in the Olympics?
