J. Cole Decides to Put his album up agains Kanye’s. Does he Stand a chance?

I’m a huge J. Cole fan, but I think he is definitely biting off more than he can chew. In fact, I know he is. He has told his twitter followers that he is going to go, head to head with Ye’. Yes, Yeezus himself. Cole tweeted yesterday,

That’s right, he moved his Born Sinner Album up to coincide with the same release date as Kanye West. The standard album will have 16 tracks and the delus will have 5 more.
Remember back in 2007 50 and Kanye went head to head. 50 said that he would quit music if he didn’t out sell Ye. This was both artists third album. 50 released Curtis and Kaney released Graduation. Kanye lumped him selling 957,000 to 50’s 691,000 in the first week.

After 50 revealed that it was all for publicity that seemed to work. 50 said,

“That was something that we created, Obviously, it riled the fans up in every way and the results are always bigger sales than usual. Both of the numbers were bigger than what they would have been [without the competition]. It was just great marketing.”

I highly doubt J. Cole will even touch 500,000.
