Elisabeth Hasselbeck Leaving The View to Join The Evil Empire

This news might be sudden, but it certainly isn’t surprising. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is planning on leaving The View to join Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel. The move will apparently happen sometime in mid-September, which, believe it or not is only around two months way.

Roger Ailes, President of the Fox News Channel released a statement on the news,

“Elisabeth’s warm and engaging personality made her a star on The View. She has proven to be an excellent conversationalist and I am certain she will make a great addition to our already successful morning franchise.”

Hasselbeck also released her own brief statement on the move,

“I have been a long-time fan of Fox & Friends and am excited to be joining their team in September as it is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home.”

This will end Hasselbeck’s ten year stay on The View and will also end a lot of the bickering on the show. It seemed like most of the arguments were over Hasselbeck’s conservative views that never sat well with the other hosts of the show.

I guess The View will just to have to find some other annoying blonde “conservative” to replace her. It shouldn’t be too difficult.
