War Machine Captured After Allegedly Beating Ex

MMA fighter War Machine has been arrested on 7 counts of assault for violently attacking his adult star on again/off again girlfriend. Who could believe someone that looks like this could be so violent?

He is accused of beating former girlfriend Christy Mack so severely that she feared for her life. Mack stated of the harrowing attack that she lost several teeth and several bones were broken in her face. War Machine even allegedly threatened hair with a knife. Mack only escaped by running out the back door and rushing to a neighbor for help. Also severely beaten was a man spending the night at the house, Corey Thomas. There have been allegations that War Machine walked in on Mack while she was cheating on him, but it’s unclear if this on again/off again relationship was on when the incident occurred.

I’d say it’s definitely off now.

Despite being accused of the crime, the War Machine (real name Jon Koppenhaver) posted this bizarre tweet on Twitter shortly after the attack.

“@ChristyMack I love you and hope you’re okay. I came him (sic) early to surprise you and help you set up for your convention. I can’t believe what I found and can’t believe what happened,” he wrote. “I’m so heart broken … in all ways. I will always love you.”

The attack occurred on August 8, but a warrant was issued for his arrest on Monday. He was found in a hotel in Simi Valley. Koppenhaver was arrested without incident, but has not issued a statement yet.

Thankfully, this scary looking guy remains behind bars at this time.
