People Are Mad At Drew Barrymore Because She Was Too “Handsy” With Oprah During Interview
Drew Barrymore was once one of the more beloved actresses in Hollywood, but she’s not as loved these days after returning to work on her talk show while writers and actors were still on strike.
So now, she’s on the internet’s bad side, which means they’re going to be searching for reasons to hate her. And on Tuesday, they found a reason.
During a preview for her upcoming episode with Oprah Winfrey, Barrymore can be seen holding on to Oprah’s hands and running her own hand up and down Oprah’s arm.
At one point, it looked Oprah repositioned herself on the couch to get away from Drew’s grasp, but overall, she didn’t look that bothered by the whole thing.

Several people in the comments slammed Barrymore for her grabby hands.
One person commented, “She’s really creeping me out now. It’s just to [sic] weird.”
Another user wrote, “Drew is too overbearing and cringey & it doesn’t seem genuine the way she fawns all over her guests!!”
And another, “Oprahs body language was so clear she wanted her hand back.”
Yikes! Looks like Drew Barrymore is the Jimmy Fallon of daytime! Although, there is one big difference between them… Fallon does NOT like his hand being held.
