Travis Kelce Jokes He Might Go Broke With How Much He’s Spending To Get Family And Friends Super Bowl Tickets
There’s no “family and friends” discount when it comes to Super Bowl tickets. Travis Kelce knows this all too well.
He talked with his brother, Jason Kelce, on their ‘New Heights‘ podcast on Thursday and joked about how much money’s spending on tickets for his friends and family.
I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money.
The Super Bowl is the most difficult ticket in town, so if players want their friends to come, they have to drop a lot of money on the table. Of course, Kelce can afford it because he’s worth a cool $30 million. And that number will only go up after yet another Super Bowl appearance.
But other players aren’t as lucky. The mother of San Francisco 49ers player Christian McCaffrey admitted no one in their family could afford a suite at the game because they cost millions of dollars.
We looked into a suite, and none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia Culpo, his fiancee. So, we are not in a suite. I’ll tell you that right now.
She also said her son’s best friends will be watching the game at a bar close to the stadium and plan to meet up with him after the game is over because they can’t afford to get inside the stadium.
Pretty crazy stuff. Imagine spending millions of dollars just to sit inside a suite at the Super Bowl. You’re dropping millions for like three hours of entertainment? Naaah. No thanks!
