Lindsay Lohan Arrives to Court Late – Sentenced to 90 Days in Locked Rehab!

Lindsay Lohan  wasn’t doing herself any favors today.  She was scheduled to be in court today at 8:30 AM and at 8:38 she was just landing!  D’oh!

Apparently she missed her flight Sunday night and the energy drink company that she is currently doing promotions for, kindly gave her use of their jet to help keep her butt out of jail.

She flew in the company’s Raytheon Hawker 800 jet and was diverted to Atlantic Aviation at LAX.  The plane was originally supposed to land at Van Nuys airport but LAX is closer to the court where she was scheduled to appear.

As of 8:58 the plane had landed and she was just on her way to the courthouse.  She ended up arriving 45 minutes late.

She was in court today over that accident she had June of last year when her Porsche rear-ended a truck while on her way to work.  She is facing reckless driving, providing false information to an officer, resisting arrest and obstructing or delaying justice.  All are misdemeanors but they happened while she was still on probation for ship lifting.

All of the charges stem from her denying that she was actually driving the car when the accident occurred.

THE VERDICT…..

Lindsay pleaded no contest to all of the charges and was sentenced to 90 days in a locked rehab facility.  She also got 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychological therapy.

Considering the fact that she was facing 245 days in jail, she got off lucky.  Let’s see if she can stay lucky.
