Warner Bros. Has Announced it’s Newest Superman: Henry Cavill

While we knew for a while now who was playing Spiderman, the Superman cape was still up in the air.  Well, we now have our answer: Henry Cavill.  Since it was announced,  there has been a plethora of photoshop artists going to work, seeing how he would look once he straps on the Superman Tights!  We have to admit – We’re impressed.

Who is he?  Somewhat of an unknown, what I like to call a budget saver.  He was in the “Tudors” and “Stardust” and will be in a soon to be released film call “The Immortals”.  There is a lot of star power behind the scenes on this one, you don’t need it in front of the screen as much.

David S. Goyer wrote the screen play, he was the writer behind he scenes of “Batman Begins”, and both the writer and Director of “Inception” created the story which as told by Director Zack Snyder, has nothing to do with the previous installments.  (Thank God!).  The movie is scheduled for a December 2012 release.
