Cage, Caged! – Nicolas Cage Arrested in New Orleans
Nicolas Cage is no Charlie Sheen but he is definitely in training.
Cage who is in New Orleans filming his newest movie, Medallion made a scene that wasn’t for the movie.
The ugly scene started after Cage got so intoxicated that he didn’t even know where the couple was staying. He was charged with domestic violence and public drunkenness & disturbing the peace.
Cage took his wife to a place and insisted that this was the location of the apartment they rented while in New Orleans film
ing. After his (third) wife, Alice Kim protested that it was not the correct address; Cage grabbed her by the upper arm and pulled her to what he still thought was the right place.
As the disagreement escalated Cage showed his rage! He began striking vehicles and then tried to get in a Taxi. He almost got away…..Some say an officer was flagged down by a small group of observers and others say the Cab driver called the cops, but either way they stopped the cab and ordered Cage out. Cage begin yelling at the police,
“Why don’t you just arrest me?”
Doh’
After the 2nd time around the cops did as they were told, and arrested him!
Cage went down to Central Lockup. Con-air style!
There was no sign of physical injury to his wife, and she told police that she does not want to press charges.
He was released from custody today at about 1.00pm local time, with celebrity website Radaronline reporting he posted $11,000 bail.
Cage has recently had run ins with the IRS. He had a federal lien against one of his 15 homes saying he failed to pay $6.2 million in taxes – the same year he earned $40 million.
