Jerry Seinfeld Cancels and Gets a Now Expected Letter From Trump

Another Seinfeld story and another beef, and this one is brand spankin’ new.  Kudos to Seinfeld for taking a stance.  Funny man, or should I say, funny super rich man Jerry Seinfeld canceled on Trump’s son Eric.

Cancel on a Trump? How dare you!!

I think Trump should relax and keep it moving.  The benefit is on Sept 13th leaving Donald plenty of time to find a replacement (which he has already secured Brett Michaels).

The benefit is for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where Seinfeld had agreed to perform but backed out due to Trumps continued aggressive question of Barack’s citizenship.

What I think is a very valid reason and very respectfully done, Jerry bowed out of the event gracefully via a letter by his management team:

Jerry has grown increasingly uncomfortable” with Trump’s questioning Obama’s citizenship.

Jerry . . . feels this kind of demagoguery has no place in public discourse . . . He has respectfully withdrawn from the event, and is making a contribution both to the Eric Trump Foundation and to [St. Jude].

And more importantly a (big ass) check!!

The always arrogant, extremely pompous Trump fired off a letter stating:

I just learned you canceled a show for my son’s charity,” Trump fired off in a scorching letter to Seinfeld yesterday, because of the fact that I am being very aggressive with respect to President Obama, who is doing an absolutely terrible job as our leader.

We don’t care that you broke your commitment, he wrote, even though the children of St. Jude are very disappointed, and despite the fact that your manager clearly stated you are ‘truly a man of his word.

What I do feel badly about is that I agreed to do, and did, your failed show, ‘The Marriage Ref,’ even though I thought it was absolutely terrible . . . Despite its poor ratings, I didn’t cancel on you like you canceled on my son and St. Jude. I only wish I did.

You should be ashamed of yourself!

In typical Trump fashion he is incorrect. The Marriage Ref  despite bad reviews, received huge ratings and will be back on Sunday June 26th.

Trump has also recently went to war with famed NY times Columnist Gail Collins also releasing a letter after an interview stating:

Even before Gail Collins was with the New York Times, she has written nasty and derogatory articles about me. Actually, I have great respect for Ms. Collins in that she has survived so long with so little talent. Her storytelling ability and word usage (coming from me, who has written many bestsellers), is not at a very high level. More importantly, her facts are wrong!

Trump will never be President because he can’t get out of is own way! He’s his own worse enemy.

The only thing he would bring to the White House is a Hot First Lady!
