I guess it’s safe to say, that I’m no longer surprised. Who’s next to get a DUI, Obama? Geezus!!
Hines Ward? He just seemed to be much smarter than that. The “Dancing With the Stars Champ” was arrested in Georgia after being pulled over.
It’s kind of funny that he’s known as the “Dancing with the Stars” Champ when he has 2 Super Bowl rings and a Super Bowl MVP title. A little bigger then DWTS but that goes to show you, you are only as good as your last accomplishment.
Back to the incident at hand, of course it was 3:00 AM because when he got pulled over. It’s always 3:00 AM. 3:41 to be exact. The sheriff’s office where he was arrested has been unusually tight lipped about the entire thing.
I had to go to ESPN to get Hine’s lawyer, Andrew Ree’s full statement,
“On July 9th Hines Ward was stopped by Dekalb Co. [Georgia] police for suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence. He cooperated fully with the police and truthfully answered all of their questions. We are currently in the process of ascertaining all the facts. From our preliminary investigation we can tell you that we are confident that the facts will show that Hines was NOT impaired by alcohol while driving. However, Hines is deeply saddened by this incident and apologizes to his fans and the Steelers organization for this distraction.”
Speaking of Obama, he’s going to be pissed. Ward was appointed a member of The President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. He’s half Korean and half black. I’m not sure if a drunk driving conviction will get him booted off this position or not, but it could be the reason why everything is exceptionally hushed.
I’m pretty sure he gets to keep his Mirror Ball trophy, it’s not like Miss America, but it’s just as shameful if you ask me. I know I harp on people being rich, but it’s true. Money is resources; you can call a cab, and then pay someone to bring your car home. You can get a hotel down the street.

Hines released Friday on his Facebook page, info about him texting and driving. Maybe this was the case, but at 3:41 AM? Who knows, but we want to find out!

An Aston Martin! He was pulled over when it swerved out of his lane and hit a curb! Dayyuummmm!!
