Meat Loaf Faints During Concert, Get UP and Continues the Show [video]!

After the Apprentice, I was a new Meat Loaf fan. If you watched the last Season you know that the guy has crazy passion.

Passion was definitely what he displayed last night during his concert at the Pittsburgh Trib Amphitheatre.  Right in the middle of his hit song, “I Would Do Anything For Love” he fainted.  I mean…he was out for the count.  Meat Loaf was down for a full 10 minutes.

Everyone though he had suffered from a Heart Attack.  Aides came rushing to his side to resuscitate the 63 year old Rocker.

He then miraculously got up and said,

“I f—-ing fainted. I have asthma, I can’t breathe, and then.

‘Oh wait, I forgot. I got poked by a pin and bled half to death, and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose.’

His publicist Maureen O’Connor said:

‘He hadn’t been feeling well the past few days as his asthma had been bothering him.

‘He fainted onstage and got back up and did the rest of the show. We’re happy he’s ok.’

In light of his extreme commitment to his obligations he had to cancel a Cincinnati Reds appearance so he could properly recover.  He was not going to be throwing any first pitches.

Actually, he’s no stranger to the stage faint,  It happened once in 2003.  That time it was much more serious.  He had to be rushed to surgery.  He was suffering from Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome at that time and the surgery was used to correct his irregular heartbeat.

Meat Loaf still sales 200,000 copies of Bat Out of Hell every year, which is crazy!

With a performance like last nights, I bet that will spike another 50,000 copies.

The Show Must Go On!!  63 is the new 50!  Although the guy looks like crap.  How about a vacation?  Look for yourself.
